Spring is in session and so is our beer! Peach Sorcery is the newest addition in our Sorcery series – a barrel-aged sour version of Wizard Wit available in bottles and on draft.
For this special release, we aged a batch of Wizard in oak barrels on our house wild yeast culture, bringing out all the delicious funk of farmhouse ales while adding a nice acidic backbone. After 9 to 12 months in oak, we then transferred the beer to steel and infused it with peaches to undergo a third fermentation. The result is a punchy ale boasting perfect balance of tartness and sweetness.
We’re excited to debut Peach Sorcery at Sour Saturday, along with plenty of sour ales. Oh, yes. All that citrusy lactic tartness you love in one place. Pucker up and try them all.
